Kids were asked in a study: what would Barbi consume for an evening with friends? Children selected items from store stocked with 73 different products, including beer, wine, and cigarettes. The test results were a bit alarming:
"When asked to select items for themselves and their friends from a miniature grocery store, 28% of children bought cigarettes and 62% bought alcohol.Parents’ smoking and drinking habits influenced the likelihood of selecting tobacco and alcohol, as did watching movies rated PG-13 or R."

Barbie must consume pink alcohol. Isn't Barbies mouth closed. I think she is trying to say no to tobacco. But what about Ken? Kansas city star reports the story from the people who know Kens habits:
A 4-year-old girl chose Barbie-size tobacco in the pretend store and said: “I need this for my man. A man needs cigarettes.”
A 6-year-old boy offered the doll cigarettes and said: “Honey, have some smokes. Do you like smokes? I like smokes.”
