Matti Nykänen Trailer is out!

Trailer of the Matti Nykänen the movie is out and available at the solar films site. I was a bit dissapointed that they had used some fake quotes from Nykänen. I don't think he had ever said things like I will move to copenhagen and become a swedish citizen. I do he has said "Living is the best time of your life". Which is used in the movie logo also.

Five minute Hockey fight

This year Finnish hockey league made some changes to its TV-rights. The rights were sold to premium channel and fans were lost. The league had to do something to get its fans back and some teams have been accused of starting fighting in the games in order to be more interesting. If that would be the case these teams would have full house in every game. Five minutes of group fighting. Hockey Brawl. Anybody know what league or teams are in question? Sounds like the commentators are speking french..

Of course there is an article of Matti in wikipedia. His is the best ski jumper in the world. I was trying to explain his history and famous quotes to my office mate. This page has it all.

Ski jumping in San Francisco streets

Mark Twain once said: “The coldest winter was the summer in San Francisco”.
It rarely gets over 25 degrees in the city. Today was the rare occasion when the whole bay area enjoyed warm weather. Perfect day to have ski jumping competition on one of crazy steep streets of San Francisco.

Neighbours are not too happy about the event organisers dragging two blocks of snow and bunch of ski and snowboard bums to their street. The people who lived there protested and torpedoed the event once. Too bad the event was on Thursday in the middle of the day.

Girl arrested over "happy slapping" attack

"Becky Smith was beaten unconscious on May 9 near her home in Blackley, Manchester. She was treated in hospital for severe concussion and nerve damage to her legs.

The attackers filmed the assault on a mobile video phone - a craze known as "happy slapping". The images are exchanged on mobile phones or posted on the internet.  A 16-year-old girl, from Blackley, was arrested today on suspicion of assault."

Brittish have a long history of beating people. Tony Blair will work to cure Brittish of the antisocial behaviour.
